We wanted to create a paradigm shift in the image of a typical school – that which will express the uniqueness and the holistic thinking of the ‘Bramha Valley World School’. Thus, the built form grows out of the sloping terrain and merges back into it; thereby creating another functional roof surface for the students to walk / run around / play and learn.
The design facilitates the school to indirectly instill a value based education without preaching – “to inspire and not to dictate to the students, their purpose of education and learning” – and most importantly – ‘living’. Therefore the classroom cluster and the living dormitory cluster are designed as an integrated complex.
