can my design help in bringing the outside nature inside - physically and visually?
On my first visit to the site, i fell in love with the view, the wild scraggly tree and a huge rock. My whole design efforts were directed towards making these as integral part of my design vocabulary.
Secondly, I strived to create as many places for different groups of this highly social family to enjoy this nature from various angles – from all functional areas within this house, from the sit-outs outside the dining and on the porch (at landing level), from the terrace garden near the first floor bed and from the terrace above the living room.
“As soon as we come here, we are transported to a magical tranquility and beauty which becomes very difficult to leave”. Is what all the Sapres say.
