This institute of Dental science is an integration of the Dental Hospital with clinics, operation theatre, wards etc. and Dental college with lecture halls, laboratory, library, museum etc. This modular design readily recognizes the individual needs of both the functions, their areas of interaction, segregation, circulation and transition. The campus is organized in such a compact way so as to reduce the walking distances and to give an immediate sense of orientation and direction. The other major criterion was to provide landscaped courts to bring in good light and fresh air, which would inturn act as a catalyst in the overall healing process.
